Look-a-like “widow”, but not a Latrodectus. Midly venomous, but not medically significant.

Lighter colored, than the Black Widow, often with a purplish tint - and with yellowish dots against dark
brown. They have a similar shape and have the same type of web and are in the same habitats of Latrodectus spp. They are reported to prey on Latrodectus spp. and their favorite food is pill bugs.
