Grammostola rosea "Red Rose hair"

This very colorful central Chilean species is not commonly imported like G. porteri. It looks similar to G.porteri, but it has very beautiful red "rose" hairs on the legs and a red rose-colored carapace. It also has light leg striping (off-white).
It is a hardy, docile and long-lived species. It grows to a 5 3/4" legspan, but older adult females can be large in overall girth. It is a burrowing species.Email to sales@tarantulaspiders.com to let me know how many of these you want. A shipment is scheduled to arrive end of Jan. '08.
