Periodic import from Malaysian shipments, it is supposedly collected from Burma. It is thought to range into Thailand and northern Malaysia as well. Identification is very difficult with this genus as to which species it might be. It is a large, burrowing species, very leggy, capable of 7"+ legspans and is overall dark brown to tanish-orange-fawnish in color without any leg striping or abdominal patterns. The tarsi and metatarsi, underneath are black. Typical import size is 4"-6". Mature males can be as big in legspan as females. Females can put on a lot of weight on their abdomens. They are unique with that look of slender legs and a robust abdomen.
